Pandya's all-round performance help MI defeat DD

Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Daredevils by 80 runs in their Indian Premier League encounter on Sunday. Batting first, Mumbai scored 206/4 powered by Krunal Padnya's 86(37) and Martin Guptill's 48(42). In response, Delhi were dismissed for 126, with Quinton de Kock scoring 40(28), while Jaspreet Bumrah and Pandya finished with the figures 3/13 and 2/15 respectively.

RJD member held in Rajdeo Ranjan murder case

RJD member Upendra Singh has been detained by the Bihar Police for his alleged involvement in the murder of journalist Rajdeo Ranjan, Siwan district President of RJD Parmatma Ram has reportedly confirmed. Singh is linked to former RJD lawmaker Mohammad Shahabuddin, who is lodged in jail. The police earlier claimed the assailants involved in the murder had links with Shahabuddin.

UPA regime left us with empty coffers: Amit Shah

BJP President Amit Shah on Sunday alleged that the UPA regime left "empty coffers" which has made it difficult for the NDA government to work for the poor. He further compared Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for foregoing LPG subsidy to that of former PM Lal Bahadur Shastri's call for voluntarily giving up one meal to deal with food shortage.
